KPIs for Twinning Governance Board

 

Q1 (Autumn 2025)

  • Approve annual KPIs (year 2025/2026) and 5-year goal of the Twinning Governance Board.

  • Approve the Twinning Project priorities for the 2025/2026

  • Based on the summary of the priorities and new projects in Twinning to brainstorm on funding opportunities and share options.

Q2 (Winter 2025–26)

  • Approve dissemination policy – how all Board members can support disseminating news and updates about Twinning and popularise international cooperation as the peaceful and effective way to support education in crisis (social media, publications and opportunities to present the results and lessons learnt, next steps of the project during international forums and conferences).

Q3 (Spring 2026)

  • Based on the CCG’s summary for the interim results of the projects going under the umbrella of Twinning (Dual Degree project, potentially – Excellence Network, Twinning Seed Fund, strengthening Horizon participation, and others.) to brainstorm on the improvements and next steps.

 

Q4 (Summer 2026)

  • Assess the happennings in the project activities for the year. Brainstorm on improvements for the next year.

  • Approve priorities and plan for next year (2026/2027).

Priorities 2025/2026 Twinning Initiative

 

  • Support the Global Coalition of Ukrainian Studies (GCUS). Within the GCUS project to organise and conduct Ukrainian Culture Week 2025.

  • Launch and manage the Twinning Seed Fund project.

  • Launch and manage the pilot Excellence Network project.

  • Support the project on teaching history and culture of Ukraine under the auspices of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine

  • Continue the work on the Generators4Ukraine fundraising campaign.

  • Scaling up the Twinning Dual Degree project – search for funding bodies to support the wider scale of the initiative (up to 25 new Dual Degree partnerships).

  • Keep supporting capacity-building activities of Ukrainian and the UK/international universities for joint research activities, joint grant-writing activities through in-house actions (grant-writing course, Club Orizont) and externally funded.

  • Conduct the Twinning Conference 2025

  • Prepare an annual Twinning newsletter to summarise new ongoing projects, updates and activities and inform universities and stakeholders wider.

  • Hold a drop-in session with Ukrainian universities and their international counterparts to communicate the flow and interim results of the projects and activities happening

  • Organise check-in calls with Ukrainian universities to monitor their developments and status of communication and collaboration with their counterparts, suggest support where appropriate and needed.

  • Collect information and case studies about the yearly activities of the Twins; collect and systematise information about the activities of the Board.

  •  Publish annual summary of the Twinning Governance Board and Twins’ activities.
