Strengthening Ukrainian Education Through International Collaboration: Highlights from the Education of the New Ukraine Conference

On 27 May 2025, the Education of the New Ukraine conference took place in Kyiv, bringing together Ukrainian government officials, business leaders, educators, and international experts to discuss the transformation of Ukraine’s education system. Organised by the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine under the auspices of the Office of the President of Ukraine, the event served as a vital platform for dialogue on the future of education — from schools to universities.

Charles Cormack, Chairman of Cormack Consultancy Group and founder of the UK–Ukraine Twinning initiative, participated in a panel on improving the quality of teaching and making Ukrainian universities more globally competitive.

A key topic was the success of dual degree programmes developed through the Twinning initiative, allowing students to earn both Ukrainian and British degrees without leaving the country.

The conference also welcomed representatives from Coventry University Group, reinforcing the strong international collaboration driving innovation in Ukrainian education.
