Ukrainian Dual Degree LLM Students Begin UK Experience at Edge Hill University

In January 2026, Edge Hill University's School of Law and Criminal Justice welcomed eight of its 20 Ukrainian dual degree LLM students to its UK campus. Whilst studying on the LLM AI, Digital and Cyber Law programme, the students have embraced student life in the North West of England and have participated in numerous extra-curricular activities. This includes attending 'Legal Careers' Insight Evenings with leading law firms in Liverpool, networking with employers at the School's Careers Fair and participating in Edge Hill's student Law Society mock trial competitions.

In March, the students will also be participating in International Women’s Day events, including a Women in Law panel and a student-led activity celebrating inspirational historical figures and innovators.

The Dual Degree programme is delivered by Cormack Consultancy Group (CCG), an institution-to-institution collaboration model supporting academic partnerships between Ukrainian and UK universities. Through this partnership, students benefit from an international learning experience that combines academic excellence with professional development opportunities, equipping them with the knowledge and skills required to succeed in an evolving global legal landscape.
